Gas & Heating Quality Control Inspector/Supervisor

The Gas & Heating Quality Control inspector/Supervisor ensures construction quality, safety, and compliance across mechanical, electrical, and general works. This role involves collaboration with contractors and project teams to ensure all work meets high standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Location: Dutton Manor Mill, Dutton, Clitheroe Road, PR3 2YT (Primarily site-based, with some office work; may involve exposure to site conditions and flexible hours as required.)

Role Overview:

The Gas & Heating Quality Control inspector/Supervisor ensures construction quality, safety, and compliance across mechanical, electrical, and general works. This role involves collaboration with contractors and project teams to ensure all work meets high standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Inspection: Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality and compliance with design specs, focusing on both mechanical and electrical aspects.
• Quality Control: Ensure materials and workmanship align with project standards; address any non-compliance promptly.
• Documentation: Maintain daily logs, inspection reports, and project updates for managers.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce health and safety standards on-site, addressing potential hazards.
• Coordination: Work closely with contractors and stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project timelines.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or degree in within a Construction, Mechanical, or Electrical discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in construction supervision, with hands-on mechanical and electrical experience.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of construction standards, excellent attention to detail, and effective communicator.
